Epsom Players bring L Frank Baum's classic tale to the Epsom Playhouse this autumn.

Dorothy Gale of Kansas dreams of what lies over the rainbow. One day a twister hits her farm and carries her away to another world - the land of Oz.

The RSC version, which we will be performing, captures the atmosphere of the 1939 MGM classic film and includes the songs 'Follow the Yellow Brick Road', 'If I Only Had a Brain' and of course 'Somewhere Over the Rainbow'. But there are also some extra numbers deleted from the film including the energetic dance number 'The Jitterbug'.

The Wizard of Oz is a timeless piece of theatre and a truly magical family show.

After some fabulous auditions, the show has now been cast and rehearsals are under way.
